115

Replacing the Battery

The unit contains a battery used for the internal clock.  The clock
is used to record the time in log entries.  The unit will continue to
operate normally even if the battery is flat.  If you use the logging
function and notice that the times are abnormal, please contact the
agent from whom you purchased the unit or the CONTEC
information center.
The life of a new replacement battery is approximately 5 years.
