2.8.6 Phone Book
The WLAN VoIP Residential Gateway supports 2-digit speed dial for the local lines and the
SIP phone numbers that are used frequently.
Select
Phone Book
from the
VoIP Configuration
menu,
then
Phone Book
screen page
appears.
Speed Dial:
This function allows you to dial the frequently called number by entering pre-
programmed codes. The maximum of 10 speed-dial entries can be assigned.
Phone Number:
Enter the SIP number for an associated speed dial.
Note:
Enter the contact description.
Click the
“Insert”
button to add this new rule to the URI Phone book below.
Click the
“Edit”
button on the entry that you would like to make some changes. When the
selected entry is highlighted in blue, users can make some changes by selecting from the
pull-down menu or enter the new phone number or notes.
Click the
“Change”
button to apply the changes. The modified changes will apply to the URI
Phone Book immediately.
