Using the Web Interface to Configure the IP Address
Using the Web Interface to Configure the IP Address
You must have the MP1204-XT connected to your network and you may need to change your IP address on
your system before you can telnet into the MP1204-XT.
Note:
The default IP address of the MP1204-XT is 192.168.250.250.
1.
Open your browser and enter
192.168.250.250
.
2.
Click
Configuration | System | IP
.
3.
Select the
Mode
(
Host
or a
Router
). In
Host
mode, IP traffic between interfaces will not be routed. In
Router
mode traffic is routed between all interfaces.

on Page 38 for more information about the options on this page.
4.
If applicable, select the appropriate DNS option.
5.
Enter the
IP Address
and
Mask Length
.
6.
If desired, add interfaces or IP routes.
7.
Click the
Save
button.
8.
Click
Maintenance | Configuration | Save startup-config
.
9.
Click the
Save Configuration
button.
