TRANSEC Module.
c. In the event that an error occurs during the Firmware Application Process, the following
message is displayed:
For troubleshooting purposes, three common reasons for disruption of the Firmware
Application Process are:
•
Power Failure;
•
Loss of Ethernet signal (e.g., disconnection of Ethernet cable);
•
Attempting to load firmware other than the TRANSEC Module bulk firmware
(i.e., FW-0000058x.bin).
d. Upon successful completion of transfer, the progress bar reads 100%, and the Image
Upgrade Complete message displays:
9 Refresh the Admin | Upgrade page and verify that the newly-uploaded firmware is reported in the
proper Security Module Bulk Info slot. If not, update the Active Boot Slot Configuration – use the
drop-down menu to select Newest. (This forces the TRANSEC Module to boot using the firmware
with the most recent build date.) Click [Submit] when done.
