FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS AND HUB INSTALLATION

1.

Thoroughly clean and lubricate bore of steering knuckle.

2.

Press new bearing into bore until fully seated

(Figure 7-21, Page 7-13)

.

See following CAUTION.

CAUTION

• To prevent bearing damage, only push against the outer race to install bearing.

3.

Lubricate inner race of bearing and press hub in until fully seated.

See following CAUTION.

CAUTION

• To prevent bearing damage, support the inner race while installing hub.

• Do not press against the lug bolts. Press only against the center of the hub.
