Reconnect the wire harness to the key switch. Ensure that the connector is installed correctly and is tight. If
it is not, repair or replace as necessary.

Key Switch Test – Engine Kill Circuit
TEST PROCEDURE 16 – Carburetor Solenoid Circuit
See General Warning on page 1-2.
NOTE:
Keep the battery connected while performing this test procedure.
1.
Check the carburetor solenoid coil circuit.
1.1. Turn the key switch OFF. Place the Forward/Reverse handle in NEUTRAL and set the park brake. Chock
the wheels.
1.2. Disconnect the red wire (w122) at the white bullet connector located near the voltage regulator
1.3. Disconnect the 16-gauge green wire (w110) from the starter solenoid coil to prevent the vehicle from
unintentionally starting

WARNING
• Failure to disconnect the wire from the solenoid coil could result in an unexpected engine start
when performing this test.
