To schedule a backup:
Step 1
In the CiscoWorks Homepage, select Common Services > Server > Admin >
Backup.
The Backup page appears.

Enter the appropriate information in the following fields:

Click Apply.

Description
Backup Directory
Location of the backup directory. We recommend that
your target location be on a different partition than the
CiscoWorks installation location.
Runtype
Select the desired check box. You have options to
schedule immediate, daily, weekly, or monthly
backups.
Time
From the drop-down lists, select the time and date.

If you schedule a weekly backup, select the day of
the week from the drop-down list.
•
If you schedule a monthly backup, select the day
of the month from the drop-down list.
Generations
Maximum number of backups to be stored in the
backup directory.
