Removal & Installation

4.2L Engine

To Remove:

1.  Remove the camshaft cover from the cylinder head.
2.  Remove the bolt from the intake camshaft sprocket.
3.  Remove the bolt from the exhaust camshaft actuator.

J 44222 Installation

4. Attach a J 44222 camshaft sprocket holding tool to the camshaft sprockets.
5. Remove the camshaft sprockets with the J 44222 camshaft sprocket holding tool

and timing chain from the camshafts.
