Range selector lever cable  

 

6.  Release the range selector lever cable end secondary locking tab.  
7.  Slide the range selector lever cable end secondary lock off of the primary lock.  
8.  Disengage the range selector lever cable end primary lock by squeezing the 

locking tabs together.  

9.  Pull up on the range selector lever cable end primary lock.  
10. Align the range selector lever cable to the transmission range selector lever ball 

stud.  

11. Install the range selector lever cable to the transmission range selector lever ball 

stud.  

12. Push down on the primary lock.  
13. Slide the range selector lever cable end secondary lock over the range selector 

lever cable primary lock.  

14. Make sure the range selector lever cable secondary lock tab is secure.  
15. Lower the vehicle.  
16. Make sure the shift lever is operating properly.
