Fuel System Pressure Test

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this

section.

2. Remove the injector cover.
3. Connect a suitable fuel pressure gauge to the fuel supply line. Wrap a shop towel

around the fitting while connecting the gauge to prevent fuel spillage.

4. Turn ignition ON.
5. Install the gauge bleed hose into a suitable container and open the valve to bleed

air from the system.

6.  Activate fuel pump with scan tool.
7.  Close bleed valve.
8.  Check for leaks. With the key on and engine off the pressure should be within the

manufactures recommended specifications.
