The Standard Printing Environment
Settings

Before you read through this section, keep the following points in mind.

■

Explanations are based on the assumption that all the factory default settings are in
effect.

■

The default settings appear to the right of the equal sign (=) in the display with the
item name and are explained first in the lists of values.

■

All the items and values are explained. However, several of these menus and items
are hardware dependent. They won’t be available until the corresponding option is
installed.

■

Details of the items and values that appear in the PS menu only appear after the
optional A5 module is installed. These are explained in Chapter 5.
