Duplex Printing
Selecting a binding method
You should select a binding method for the page orientation you intend to use for the
printed document.
Even if you do not intend to bind the document, it is important that the binding method
is set. The binding setup you select sets the top and bottom of the front and back sides
of the pages.
You can select one of four binding methods by combining page orientation and
binding method settings. Refer to the samples and table below.
The diagram below shows long-edge binding for portrait and landscape orientation.
