Going off-line for menu display and item selection

Press 

Go

 to switch the 

On Line

 indicator on and off. When the 

On Line

 indicator

is on, the printer is on-line and ready to print. The printer must be on-line to receive

data from the host computer.

Every time you start a print job, check the 

On Line

 indicator to ensure it is on.

When the 

On Line

 indicator is off, the printer is off-line. The printer must be off-line

before you can use the

Making a selection from a menu

Follow this procedure to familiarize yourself with how to use the printer control panel

buttons to view or change menu settings. The example below shows you how to view

or change the density setting.

Check the printer control panel to ensure the
