1) Remove the upper deck pickup unit.
Please ref er to "Removing Upper , Middle, and Lower Deck Pickup
Units" of "POD Deck A1 Service Manual."
2) Remove the solenoid cover [1].
- 1 screw [2]

3) Remove the upper deck pickup solenoid [1].
- 2 Wire Saddles [2]
- 1 connector [3]
- 2 screws [4]
- 1 Spring [5]

4) Remove the pickup air duct [1].
- 1 wire saddle [2]
- 1 connector [3]
- 5 screws [4]

5) Remove the pickup upper guide plate [1].
- 9 screws [2]

CAUTION: Point to Note When Attaching
Be sure to hook the tension spring [2] to the cutoff [1], and fit the shaft [3]
into the arm groove [4] to attach.
