1) Remove the buffer path unit.
Please refer to "Removing Buf fer Path Unit" in "POD Deck A1 Ser vice
Manual."
2) Remove the motor mount [1] and the timing belt [2].
- 1 wire saddle [3]
- 1 connector [4]
- 1 edge saddle [5]
- 2 screws [6]

3) Remove the bearing [1] on the rear side.
- 1 E ring [2]
- 1 pulley [3]
- 1 dowel pin [4]

CAUTION: Point to note when attaching
Attach the timing belt [1] to cover the motor pulley [2], the pulley [3] and
the tensioner roller [4] uniformly.
