are permitted when installing the Caddy furnace with en existing furnace whose hot air
plenum ducts are downwards flowing. The hot air plenum of the Caddy furnace
must
be above the furnace and cannot
be directed downward.
Do not install connecting ducts in a way that would allow inversion of the air flow (see
example 1 and 3
).
The transfer duct between the existing furnace and the add-on must be at least 435 square inches (0.28 m
2
) and
deviations radius must be at least 6" (152 mm). (See
OPTION 1 and 2
).
