8.4.1
Function and accuracy check of the nutrunner
Recommendation: Check the function and accuracy of the nutrunner by means of a rotation of 90° to the
tightening axis. For the test, create a tightening program with a speed of 0, angle of turn tolerance window
for the output drive of 88° - 92° and a tightening time of approx. 5 seconds.
After start-up of the tightening program, the nutrunner is moved by 90° in the direction of the tightening
axis.

If the angle head output drive axis is not aligned with the tightening axis, an angle head compensation
error occurs. A deviation of 15° leads to an error of approx. 1.5°.
