
Retrieval from the MTX Navigator
1.
Select the directory in which the new placement table is to be created in
the MTX Navigator using the mouse or the arrow keys.
2.
Press <F2 New> and then <F8 Placements> in the sublevel of the F-key‐
pad.
– or –
Select New ▶ Placements in the context menu.
A dialog opens (see
fig. 7-36 " Dialog to create a new placement table" on page
) to create anew placement table (continue with point 3).
Retrieval from the placement editor
1.
Switch to the 2nd F-keypad with <F8> and press <F2 file...> to switch to
the file functions.
2.
Press <F2 New...>.

Enter the name of the placement table. An automatically generated table
name is filled in by default.
4.
Close the dialog with "Ok".
A placement table is created and is opened in the placement editor.
Using Table Templates
Proceed as follows to use any placement table as template:
1. Dialog New (see
fig. 7-36 " Dialog to create a new placement table" on
) as described above.
2. If necessary, enter a new name for the placement table.
3. In the dialog New select the field "Template".
The entry field for the name of the template (default:" PM1.pmt") is acti‐
vated. If the default template "PM1.pmt" should not be used, a name with
the path information of another placement table can be entered here. If a
table name is entered without path information, the template is sought in
path "/database".
4. Acknowledge the entry by pressing the "Ok" button.
The new table is opened in the placement editor. The number of correction
pages and correction values is adopted from the given template.
Functions on the Main Level of the Placement Editor
<F2 Add correction page>
New placement data sets can be added to the table with <F2 Add correction
page>. New data sets are attached to the end of the table.
Placement data sets are assigned running numbers (correction
page 1-5).
<F3 Remove correction page
<F3 Remove correction page> removes the last zero point data set.
Additive Value Entry
<Additive value entry> can be used to enter correction values that are to be
added to the existing value (see
chapter "Value Entry" on page 143
).
