Determining the Zero Point
Calling the function
The "Determine zero point" function can be configured as MTX function. It can
be assigned as key on any configurable panel (F-keys or M-keys).
An assignment below the "Prepare" operating range is reasonable.

Tool Measurement
Overview on the Tool Measurement
The function "Tool measurement" is in the standard or after con‐
verting old projects. It is in the operating area "Prepare" and can be
called via <F3>.
The "Tool measurement" function allows the user to determine the tool correc‐
tion values (L1, L2, L3 and R) for the active tool by an experimental "sampling"
of a tool at a workpiece and to apply the result to the database and to the tool
correction register of the CNC. This results in a direct relation between the zero
point, the workpiece dimensions and the tool correction values of the active
tool.
