INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT

Make sure you install the transmission mount-
ing bolts nearest the frame first and tighten so
there is no gap. Then tighten bottom mounting
bolts completely.

Step 1:
Install traction transmission.

a. Lift transmission into place.
b. Install mounting bolts.
c. Tighten mounting bolts. Be sure to tighten bolts

nearest the frame first.

d. Install bolts holding drive shaft to the drop box.

Step 2:
Install traction drive shaft.

a. Install drive shaft (1). Torque bolts securing

drive shaft to three speed transmission to
60 lb-ft (82 N•m).

b. Install brake caliper mounting bracket (2).

Step 3:
Install parking brake assembly.

a. Install parking brake caliper (3) on disc (4).
b. Loosen adjusting screw (5) on caliper.
c. Position caliper on brake disc.
d. Tighten adjusting screw to hold caliper in

position.

e. Install caliper mounting bolts.

Step 4:
Install hydraulic lines to shift cap. Connect
electrical wires to shift cap.
