ASSEMBLY

Step 1:
Press tire on rim until flush with edge of rim.

NOTE

When pressing take-up tire onto rim, access to
a 100 ton press is needed.

Step 2:
Insert bearing cup and press into place.

Step 3:
Install track tension cylinder.

a. Lift track up to give adequate work space.
b. Install track tension cylinder (2) through frame

mounting bracket and against take-up wheel
shaft.

c. Align barrel pin bore and install cylinder mount-

ing pin (4).

d. Tighten set screw (3) to hold cylinder pin in

place.

e. Connect hose (1) to track tension cylinder.
f. Tighten bleeder screw (5).

INSTALLATION

Step 1:
Install take-up wheel.

a. Lift track up to give adequate work space.
b. Place tire on shaft.
c. Install nut and lockwasher. Rotate wheel

backward as you tighten to seat bearings.

d. Install cover, install lug nuts.

ADJUSTMENT

Step 1:
Adjust take-up wheel position.

a. Loosen bleeder screw (1).
b. Disengage clutch.
c. Start engine.
d. Intermittently engage clutch until no air bubbles

appear.

Step 2:
Check track operation.

a. Drive the machine in reverse for one full track

revolution.

b. Drive machine in forward for two full track

revolutions.

c. Verify proper track tension by sight.
