PTO AND CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

REMOVAL

Step 1:
Remove pump drive shaft.

a. Pull manual clutch lever (1) away from the clutch

assembly to disengage clutch.

b. Remove the drive shaft cover (2).

NOTE

Drive shaft bolts are specially designed and
cannot be substituted.

c. Remove four bolts that attach drive shaft flange

yoke (3) to the clutch shaft flange mount.
Rotate drive shaft for access to these bolts.

d. Remove U-bolts from opposite end of drive

shaft.

e. Remove drive shaft from machine.
f. Push manual clutch lever towards the clutch

assembly to engage clutch once drive shaft is
removed.

Step 2:
Remove auger/conveyor pumps (4) to improve
access.

Step 3:
Remove clutch housing.

a. Remove the bolts that attach the clutch housing

(5) to the engine.

b. Pull clutch housing away from the engine to

disengage the end of the clutch shaft from the
pilot bearing on the crankshaft. It may be
necessary to use a prybar in some instances.

c. Support the clutch housing with a hoist. Once

the clutch shaft has disengaged the pilot bear-
ing, the clutch assembly can be removed.
