Some machines (prior to PF-17207-01 and PF-20008-
01) have an hour meter switch mounted with the oil
pressure sending unit. These switches are wired
directly to the tachometer as shown in the electrical
schematic for your machine. Other machines (early
and later models) do not have this switch. Signal wiring
for hour meter comes from the main switch.
There are three different tachometer/hour meter units
used. Early units (as indicated above) accumulated time
whenever ignition switch was on. Middle and later units
accumulate time only with engine running. Many early
units have been updated to the latest design.
Wire hour meter switch (if present) as wired before
