ASSEMBLY (FRONT WHEEL
POWER ASSIST)
Step 1:
Press tire on rim until flush with edge of rim.
NOTE
When pressing bogie tires onto rim, access to a
100 ton press is needed.
Step 2:
Install front wheel power assist.
a. Install motor (3) to wheel (4).
b. Position motor assembly shaft in king pin (5).
c. Tighten spanner nuts (2).
d. Install manifold (1) at the back of motor.

BOGIE)
Step 1:
Press tire on rim until flush with edge of rim.
NOTE
When pressing tire on rim, access to 100 ton
press is needed.
Step 2:
Install bogie wheel.
a. Press bearing cones into rim.
b. Pack bearings with grease.
c. Install bearing cups and cones.
d. Slide bogie wheel onto hub (1).
e. Install retaining washer (2), lockwasher (3), and
locknut (4).
f. Install hub cap (5) (PF-171 only).

EQUIPMENT PREPARATION
Step 1:
Lubricate all grease fittings.
Step 2:
Operate machine to make sure hydraulic fluid is
reaching the cylinders and the optional front wheel
power assist.
a. Start engine.
b. Move machine, turn steering wheel to operate
bogie wheels.
