DMS - Media Controller Option
Introduction
The LPB2900 Series switches feature an optional media controller for controlling Black Box MediaCento products. The controller
features include: MediaCento discovery, matrix switching, and preset switching.
Before You Get Started
The MediaCento System uses IP multicast addressing between transmitters and receivers. Each transmitter obtains its multicast
address from the manual rotary switch position.

The rotary switch settings are 0 through F. If you change the transmitter rotary switch position after you power on, you should
power off and power on the transmitter to reset the IP multicast address. Then, rediscover the transmitters after you reset the
rotary switch positions. The LPB2900A-CTRL system can have a maxium of sixteen transmitters.
For example, if the MediaCento has three transmitters, set one transmitter to rotary switch setting 0, the next transmiter to rotary
switch setting 1, and the last transmitter to rotary switch setting 2.
