Configuring available counters
The device has a freely configurable counter that increments according to a prespecified
event. When a package or box is canceled, the counter can be decreased. In order to print
the value of the counter on customer-specific labels that have been configured for this pur-
pose, you have to allocate the counter to one of the general numbers 1 to 3, see
page 198.
Start value:
You can enter any value with which the counter starts counting.
Package type:
Under <Pckg. type counter1> you specify which type of packaging should
be counted. The following settings are possible:
<Counter single pack-
ages>:
Count each individual package.
<Counter total 1>:
Count when Total 1 is printed, e.g. every full box.
<Counter total 2>:
Count when Total 2 is printed, e.g. every full pallet.
<Counter total 3>:
Count when Total 3 is printed, e. g. after each finished job.
Counting occurrence:
Define under <Counting event> the counting event that should
trigger counting. The following settings are possible:
<Never>:
The counter does not count. Standard setting.
<Print logo 1>:
With every print of logo 1 on the labels, the counter is in-
creased.
Example:
Count all packages with the green point. For this pur-
pose, the green dot has to be saved and selected as Logo 1.
<Each pckg. selected>:
Whenever a label is printed for the respectively selected pack-
age type, the counter is increased (for single packages or totals
labels for boxes, pallets, etc.).

Printer channel control
This function is used to control the use of individual labelers in double and multiple labeler
systems. Via the printing channels <Print chan. internal> and <Print channel A> to
<Print channel G> that are allocated to the labelers, define when each labeler prints. You
can form labeler pairs and specify which one starts printing (start) and which one waits for
package change or paper end (standby). You can make settings for up to 3 labeler pairs.
