Set up total release
This is where you can define how a total is printed once the related total preselection has
been reached. The settings only takes effect when a total preselection is set for the re-
spective total. The following types of total releases are supported:
by hand:
The total label is triggered manually via a softkey once the total
is reached.
synchronous:
The total label is automatically printed once the total is reached.
When the last package that belongs to the total has left the con-
veyor belts, they stop during total stop and the total label is prin-
ted automatically.
Once a total has been triggered it is no longer possible to cancel the in-
cluded packages.
In the totals stop a new total preselection or PLU change can
be executed. After accepting and confirming the totals label the
package that had been stopped on the scales, is weighed. The
conveyor belts continue. Between the last package containing
one triggered total and the first package of the new total is a
gap.
This selection enables total switches or package ejectors to be
controlled.
asynchronous:
The total label is printed automatically by an external printer
when the total is reached. No total stop takes place.
The package is not totalized until it has left the automatic ma-
chine. That is why no cancellations are required if errors occur.
Up to three total print jobs can be sent to an external printer at
the same time. Therefore acknowledgement type "Ack. after re-
ceipt" has to be set on the external printer.
The automatic machine has to be stopped for a new total prese-
lection or PLU change.
How the printer interfaces are configured is not part of this documenta-
tion. For further information please contact your Bizerba consultant or
Bizerba Service.
synchronously unse-
cured:
Print totals label automatically once the last package has left
the scales. If the respective setting is used, a label cannot be
canceled in the event of an error, but merely separated. The
setting always applies to tall three totals.
The total release types are not assigned individually to totals, but are used as a set combi-
nation.
