1 About these instructions
Read these instructions before connecting and switching on the device. In these instruc-
tions you will find information how to use the full functionality of the device and how to
avoid possible dangers.
These instructions explain how to operate and set the device.
These instructions do not distinguish between standard equipment and options. Please
contact your Bizerba specialist for information on available variants.
Our products are subject to constant further development and various country-specific reg-
ulations. Examples of pictures and graphics included in these instructions may vary from
the version which you receive.

These instructions describe the operation and setting of the automatic labeler GLM-I ( G ra-
phic L abeling M achine - I ndustry, in the following only called device).
It describes the software of menu type 1. It contains information on:

1.2 Safe-keeping
This technical document is an essential component of the device. It must be stored close
to the device and easy accessible for everybody.
If the device is resold, these complete short instructions must be provided with it.
1.3 Target group
The device may only be operated by trained personnel. The user must be familiar with the
contents of these instructions.
Installation, maintenance and repair works must be performed by Bizerba authorized spe-
cialists only.
