Types of statistics
In order to use the statistics types you need the "Prepack Regulation li-
cense".
The following types of statistics are available:
"no":
Without statistic evaluation.
"FPV Europe":
The device checks and manages the packages in line with Eu-
ropean prepack regulations (FPV). The tolerance limits, LT1,
LT2 and UTmax, calculated from the nominal weight, Qn, are
displayed on the screen.
"USA - Non USDA stand-
ardized":
This selection criteria is valid for all non meat and poultry prod-
ucts. It is also valid for all meat and poultry products that are not
produced in factories monitored by the USDA authorities. The
device checks and manages the packages in accordance with
the specifications of "NIST Handbook 133".
"USA - USDA standar-
dized":
This selection criterion is valid for all meat and poultry products
that are produced in factories monitored by the USDA authori-
ties. The device checks and manages the packages in accord-
ance with the specifications of "NIST Handbook 133". Tolerance
limit calculation and display as in "USA - not USDA regulated".
"USA - USDA only liquid
mater.":
This selection criterion is valid for all products in liquid form that
are produced in factories monitored by the USDA authorities,
e.g. for baby food. The device checks and manages the pack-
ages in accordance with the specifications of "NIST Hand-
book 133". Tolerance limit calculation and display as in "USA -
Non USDA standardized".
"with free limits":
The device checks and manages packages in accordance with
lower and upper limits that have been specified. The mean val-
ue of the packages may not undershoot the specified nominal
weight. If no lower or upper limit has been specified, the weight
ranges of the respective weight-class column apply.
"without mean value cri-
teria":
All packages between the specified lower and upper limit are
accepted. No mean value is calculated; therefore no packages
are sorted out that are lighter than the mean value. If no specifi-
cation is made, the weight ranges of the weight class apply.
"self-adapting mean val-
ue":
A mean value is formed from the last n packages (n = prespeci-
fied number of packages). If the mean value is different from
the prespecified nominal weight, the nominal weight is set to the
mean value and the upper and lower limits are adjusted. This is
how gradual changes in the weight of the package can be com-
pensated.
