19.6.4 Print sub-code string: Explanations
In additional code number fields on customer labels, you can print a code string or selec-
ted parts of a code string separately. The license "CODE_PART_PRINT" is required for
separate printing. The following settings are possible:
<Part code str.1>:
If only part of the code strings should be printed, enter the start
and end of the range to be printed here. Start and end refer to
the code contents (see example below).
<Space part1>: – "With" set this if you want spaces to be set between the se-
lected code contents.
– Set "W/o" if you want the code content to be printed with-
out space as separator.
<AI part1>: Only for GS1-128.

"With" set this if you want the AI numbers to be printed in
the code number field. Standard setting.
– "W/o" set this if you don't want the AI numbers to be prin-
ted in the code number field.
Example of defining a section

In order to print part of a code string with the second and third code content, enter
"Start"=2 and "End"=3. To print the complete code string, you don't need to enter anything
at all here.
Speciality of EAN13 and EAN8 code
If, with these code types, you are working with the "XXXXXP.6.", "XXXXXXP.5." etc. for-
mats, the middle check digit is valued as
own code content.

To print part of a code string with the middle check digit, price and symbol for the check
digit, enter "Start"=2 and "End"=4.
