5.7.1.7 Checking the Battery Charge Level
The charge level of a battery can be read:
•
on the battery, by pressing the
<charge level button>
•
on the corresponding driving unit display
•
on the panel PC
The charge level display is located on the top of the battery. Next to it is the
<charge
level button>
. Press the button in order to display the charge level.
If the battery is in the driving unit, the charge level is displayed on the corresponding
display. If the battery is being charged, the charging process is displayed.
Charge level and capacity
Charge level refers to the available battery capacity in percent. This capacity is re-
duced with increasing duration of use and number of charge cycles. The charge level
does not specifically indicate how much operating time the driving unit has remaining.
