Default Parameter Settings

button is pressed, a window opens showing buttons to control
the driving unit. The symbols on the buttons show the action to be performed.

Asynchronous
mode The two blood pumps work asynchronously. When
one blood pump is in systole, the other blood pump
is in diastole. Asynchronous mode can be used with
very small patients to minimize intra-thoracic volume
displacement.
Separate mode Both blood pumps work independently from one
another.
Separate mode allows for selection of
lower rates for the right side of the heart. Separate
mode is recommended for patients who are supplied
with same-sized blood pumps on the right and left
sides.
