6.5.3 Switching the Panel PC On and Off
Powering on
The <Power on / off> switch is located on the top right. Press the switch briefly to
switch the device on.

To switch the power off, use the software’s S
WITCH OFF PANEL
PC function, see
chapter 7.6.5: Switching Off the Panel PC, page 90.
Switch the panel PC off by pressing and holding <Power on / off> only in an emer-
gency. This method does not allow the software and the operating system to be shut
down safely.

• Green - Battery charged (>95 %)
• Orange - Battery is charging

• Blue - connected
• Off - not connected

1. Insert the panel PC from above into the mount. In
the bottom position, the panel PC will snap into
place.
2. The panel PC is correctly connected if:
• a snapping noise is heard when inserted,
• the lock release jumps back to “locked”,
• the display is lit blue.
Snap!
1. Slide the lock release toward the left. Hold the lock release in this position.
2. Lift the panel PC up and out.
