Class I, IPLeak, alternative leakage current measurement

Insert the shock-proof plug of the portable test sample into the
test socket of the appliance tester.

The testing voltage is applied and must be tested in all switch
positions (device functions).

Use the test probes to scan all accessible conductive parts and
applied parts.
Class II, IPLeak, direct current measuring method
The polarity of L-N must be reversed.

Place the test sample onto an insulated surface.

Insert the shock-proof plug of the test sample into the test socket
of the appliance tester.

The test sample is supplied with mains voltage and must be
tested in all switch positions (device functions).

Use the test probes to scan all accessible conductive parts and
applied parts.

Measurement

Make sure that the test sample is free of mains voltage.

Connect the mains plug of the test sample to the test socket of
the appliance tester.

Select a measuring

The “Stop” button must only be tapped if the test time for
automatic testing is set to ‘infinite’ (0).
Otherwise, the test will be stopped automatically.

” screen opens.
