For safety reasons, the battery set is delivered being
discharged and disconnected. Before using it, the
battery must be connected and fully charged.
The
BENNING PT 1
is the perfect solution for rapidly generating test
reports on site thanks to its high printing speed and data
transmission via Bluetooth
®
interface.

22.1
Commissioning the BENNING PT 1
Inserting / removing the batteries
Remove the screw of the battery compartment cover.
Press the battery compartment cover down and push it
back.
Connect the plug of the battery set.
Insert the battery set and make sure that the cables are
laid correctly and are not jammed.
Connecting the AC power supply unit
Plug the AC power supply unit into a suitable mains
socket.
Plug the coaxial power connector of the power supply
unit into the power supply connection on the back of the
printer.
The LED flashes orange to indicate that the printer is charging.
Inserting a paper roll
Move the locking lever in the direction of the status LED
until the cover folds up.
Unroll approx.
3
to
5 cm
of paper from the roll and insert
the rest of the paper roll into the printer.
Feed the unrolled part of the paper roll through the
opening provided in the cover.
Close the cover.
The printer is now ready for operation.

Operating the Bluetooth
®
printer
Start the appliance tester.
Start the printer.
Navigate to the “
Main menu
”.
Navigate to “
System settings
”.
Navigate to “
Bluetooth
®
”.
Tap the “
Search
” button.
After having completed the search, the appliance tester shows the
detected Bluetooth
®
devices in your vicinity on the display.
Touch the line with the Bluetooth
®
device
name and tap the “
Connect
” button.
The printer will be connected to the appliance tester.
After having completed an automatic or manual test procedure, the
"
" button appears on the "
Test result
" screen.
Tap the "
" button to print the test report on the
thermographic paper.
