2.13.3 Gear shifting in transmission with mechanical gearbox and reverse-reduction

gear

Control elements of the gearbox with the reverse-reduction gear are shown in figure

2.13.3.

Gears shifting is carried out by two levers: lever to shift gearbox ranges and gears

3 (figure 2.13.3) and lever to control reverse-reduction gear 2.

Selection of the required reverse-reduction gear ranges, gears and stages (forward

movement stage – symbol “forward”, reverse stage – symbol “reverse”) is carried out in

accordance with shifting diagrams 4 and 1, as shown in figure 2.13.3.

Gears and stages shifting is carried out by one lever 3, while at the beginning

range (I or II) is engaged, then the lever is shifted into the position “N”, selected gear is

engaged.

Lever to control reverse-reduction gear 2 shall be in the engaged (fixed) position

during tractor operation: forward – forward movement stage (“forward”), or backward - re-

verse stage (“reverse”). It is possible to keep the lever of the gear reduction unit in a neu-

tral (middle non-fixed) position to facilitate starting the engine at low temperatures.

ATTENTION: THERE IS NO REVERSE GEAR IN THE GEARBOX OF THE TRAC-

TOR EQUIPPED WITH THE REVERSE-REDUCTION UNIT. SELECTION OF DRIVING

DIRECTION IS CARRIED OUT BY ENGAGEMENT OF THE CORRESPONDING STAGE

OF THE REVERSE-REDUCTION UNIT!

ATTENTION: SHIFT GEARBOX RANGES AND GEARS ONLY ON STOPPED TRAC-

TOR WITH THE CLUTCH PEDAL FULLY DEPRESSED!
