- the tightening torque of the bolts attaching the cylinder head shall make from 190
to 210 N

m;
- after checking the tightening torque of the bolts attaching the cylinder head, mount
the rocker arm shaft back to its place and adjust the gap between valves and rocker arms,
as indicated in section 6.4.4.13 “Operation 44. Check / adjustments of gaps between
valves and rocker arms of the engine.”
- place back the cap and cover of the cylinder head.

6.4.5.16 Operation 63. Rinsing of coarse fuel filter
Rinse the coarse fuel filter in the following order:
- shut off two cocks (Figure 2.23.1) of fuel tanks;
- unscrew nuts of cup retaining bolts;
- remove cup 1 (Figure 6.4.55);
- screw out reflector with mesh 2 with a wrench;
- remove the dispenser;
- rinse the reflector with mesh, dispenser and filter cup in diesel fuel and put them
back to their places.

According to section 6.4.5.17 “Operation 64. Replacing filter of filter cartridge of fine
fuel filter”, replace the filter or the filter cartridge of the fine fuel filter and fill the system with
fuel (bleed the fuel system).
