2.7.3 Multifunctional indicator unit КД 8083
The multifunctional indicator unit КД 8083 is shown in figure 2.7.2.
1 – annunciator of overvoltage in the tractor on-board network (red color); 2 – indicator of
engine speed (needle indicator); 3 – indicator of rear PTO revolutions in 1000 min-1 mode (light
indicator); 4 – indicator of rear PTO revolutions in 540 min-1 mode (light indicator); 5 – indication
display of rear PTO revolutions; 6 – LEDs illuminated in the display mode of the travel speed "km
/ h" and the total operating time of the engine "h" (opposite the corresponding LED); 7 – LEDs
illuminated in the programming mode of the coefficients "K", "R", "Z" and LED "T", illuminated in
the mode of indicating the specified total operating time of the engine (opposite the corresponding
LED); 8 – indication display (LCD) of total operating time of the engine and tractor travel speed.

The multifunctional indicator unit КД 8083 operating order is as follows:
When the tractor is stopped, after setting the starter and instrument switch to position “I” on display
8 (figure 2.7. 2), the engine running hours (h) will appear and LED 6, located near the symbol “h” will light
up.
After engine start indicator of engine speed 2 displays the engine crankshaft speed. At the same
time, the indication of the calculated rotation speed of the rear PTO (min-1) appears on display 5 - on
scale 3 for the rear PTO in 1000 min-1 mode and on scale 4 for the rear PTO in 540 min-1 mode. Rear
PTO rotational speed is calculated by the signal of the phase winding of the generator.
When the tractor moves, display 8 shows the estimated speed of the tractor, and LED 6, lo-
cated near symbol km / h, lights up, while indication time of engine running hours disappears. Indica-
tions of speed are carried out by a signal from a sensor mounted on the final drive gear of a wheel
rotating at a lower frequency. Estimated speed is somewhat higher than actual, because skidding of
the tractor is not taken into account.

right side of display 8, it means there is no signal from the right speed sensor.

” appears on the left side of display 8, it
means there is no signal from the left speed sensor. It is necessary to eliminate the error. There
are no speed indications on display 8. To restore speed indications it is necessary to eliminate the
above mentioned errors. Annunciator 1
of overvoltage in the tractor on-board network lights up
when the supply voltage of the on-board network is above 18V and turns off when the supply volt-
age drops below 16V. During illumination of annunciator 1 of the combined indication unit does not
work. When voltage in the tractor on-board network rises above 18V, lamps, illuminating the com-
bined indication unit can break down, if they were turned on. In this case it is necessary to replace
the combined indication unit illumination lamps.

ABOVE 18V, THE MULTIFUNCTIONAL INDICATION UNIT TURNS OFF COMPLETELY AND
RESTORES ITS OPERATING PERFORMANCE WHEN ON-BOARD VOLTAGE DROPS BELOW
