Important
When tightening the slotted nut, fasten it with
a specified torque after installing the crank
Assy to the main body, and then install the
cotter pin.
See "Crank Assy layout" (Page 4-10) .
Install the disc spring and cotter nut, and
temporarily tighten the nut.

Install two bolts, nuts, and spring washers,
tighten them until the bolts hit the keys, and
lock them with nuts.
Install the other crank Assys in the same
way.

Inspection of crank housing
Wear of bearings due to frequent usage and
invasion of water may damage bearings etc.
and prevent smooth rotation of the roller.
Inspect and replace the parts such as the
bearings.
Make sure that the housing does not have
any chap or crack.
Make sure that there is no wear or damage
of the shaft.
Make sure that there is no wear or rust of
the bearing.
Make sure that there is no play in the fit of
the shaft and the bearing.
Remove the crank Assy from the machine.
See "Removal of crank Assy" (Page 4-11) .
