Removal of crank Assy
Warning
When removing or installing any crank parts,
be sure to secure the crank.
If the crank is not secured, the crank may
become unbalanced and rotate suddenly.
It may cause injury or death.
The machine is removed from the tractor
with its upper link, up-down handle, and
cover removed.
Remove the φ12.φ18 tine mounting board
from the machine. (See "Removal of
φ12.φ18 tine mounting board" (Page 4-6) .)
Remove the spring box from the machine.
(See "Removal of spring box" (Page 4-9) .)
Remove the lower housing Assy from the
machine. (See "Removal of lower housing
Assy" (Page 4-7) .)
Remove all cotter pins securing the slotted
nuts from the crank Assy. (See "Crank Assy
layout" (Page 4-10) .)

Caution
When removing and installing the crank nuts,
be sure to secure the crank.
Secure the crank bracket by using a wood
block, etc. so that it does not rotate when
the nuts are loosen.
Loosen the cotter nuts of all crank shafts.
Loosen the left and right drive shaft nuts of
the gear box.

Caution
Take a measure to prevent rotation by using a
rope.
Pull out the crank shaft from the crank
bracket and remove the upper housing.
