Spring box
Inspection of spring box
Wear of bearings due to frequent usage and
invasion of water may damage springs,
bearings etc., preventing smooth rotation of
the tine holder, spring box Assy, etc. Inspect
and replace the parts such as the bearings
and springs.
Confirm that there is no crack nor tear in
the bearing housing of the spring box.
Confirm that there is no crack nor tear in
the bearing housing of the spring shaft.
Make sure that there is no wear or rust of
the bearing.
Make sure that there is no play in the fit of
the shaft and the bearing.
Make sure that the hole of the fastening
bracket is not worn.
Confirm that the compression spring is not
broken nor shrunk.
Note:
Between the spring box Assys of TDA1200
and TDA1600, the spring box, compression
box, and spring shaft varies, but the
assembling and inspection methods are the
same.
Remove the box fixing collar from the
spring box.
Remove the reverse side as well.
