on during brief heating up.
• Priority solar: Sets the operating stage of the filter pump to
solar mode; This set speed stage always has priority over
every filter time program (even if filter program is off). Off
ignores the priority solar function. If no filter time is stored
and all the conditions for solar are satisfied, the filter pump
runs in the set “Priority solar” speed stage.

7.8.6 Combination of solar with thermal heat pump/electric flow
heater
A heating relay (relay 6) is provided on the BADU Genio for the
pool heating control. Parallel pipework enables a combination of
thermal heat pump or electric flow heater with solar to be used.
The heating relay is designed for controlling solar. It is necessary
to set the operating mode to solar. The solar enable must then be
entered on the BADU Genio.
As soon as all the conditions for the solar enable are fulfilled, the
heating relay switches an electric actuating drive of the 3-way ball
valve or the solenoid valve of a 3-way rod valve. Now, the
complete pool water flows through the parallel pipework on the
roof. The thermal heat pump or the electric flow heater is switched
off automatically by the integrated flow switch because all the
water flows through the solar collectors on the roof. It is no longer
fed through the thermal heat pump/electric flow heater. The basic
temperature of the pool water must be set on the thermal heat
pump/electric flow heater.
