7.4 Pressure switch
The BADU Genio checks whether the filter pump is running or at
standstill by comparison with a pressure switch. Therefore, a
pressure switch must always be installed in the unit’s pressure
line. If this is not the case, you would be able to acknowledge the
error message briefly but it would re-appear again after a short
time.
The pressure switch type should be chosen depending on the
difference in height between the top surface of the water and the
pressure switch so that it switches perfectly. It must be ensured
that the pressure switch also switches on at minimum pump
speed. If the filter pump is installed below the water level, you
must make sure that the water pre-pressure does not
automatically activate the pressure switch. When the filter pump is
operated up to approx. 3 m below the water level, the pressure
transducer from + 0.1 bar to + 0.5 bar must be used. (Material
number: 5880400021)
Make sure that the optimum switching point is set during
commissioning. This must be checked with the red LED at input
I04 (pressure switch).
