4. Run the setup.exe file, and perform one of the following steps:

If Microsoft Office Access database engine is available on your PC, the

Central

Director Access Startup

window appears. Proceed to step 5.

OR

If Microsoft Office Access database engine is not available, you are prompted to
install Microsoft Office Access database engine 2007.

If you use the Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, you are prompted to install Microsoft
Data Access Components 2.8 instead of the Microsoft Office Access database
engine.

Click Install and perform the instructions that appear.

If you use the Microsoft Windows 2000 server, you are prompted to install Microsoft
Data Access Components 2.8 instead of the Microsoft Office Access database
engine.

After Microsoft Office Access database engine 2007 is installed on your PC, the
Install Shield window appears.

5. Click

Next

• Avaya AccessService

12. Ensure that both these services are present and show a Status of Started.

You must configure SIP DECT to reach the Central directory access services.
