When prompted for the removable media to be used for backups,
respond F for floppy diskette or C for cartridge tape. The system
will determine if 5.25-inch or 3.5-inch diskettes are needed.
•
The system will compute the number of diskettes needed for the
backup.
•
If diskettes were chosen, the system will provide the option of
formatting the diskettes. This step is strongly recommended for
ensuring a good quality backup.
The administrative files will be backed up.
•
The speech files will be backed up.
•
The voice system will be started if it was previously stopped.

Install the AUDIX Voice Power File System Modification Software by
following the directions in Installing AUDIX Voice Power File System
Modification Software in Chapter 3.

Install the IVP System Software, version 1.1 by following the directions
in Installing IVP System Software in Chapter.

Start the Voice System using the following procedure:
a
Make sure that the system is shut down normally before proceeding.
b
Reboot the system to start it.
