If the board has unmarked slide switches, the setting of the second switch
(SW12.1) should correspond to one of the settings shown in Figure 4.
Use the configuration letter at the top of the column
in
which the
match is found.

If you are unable to determine the correct configuration by examining the
switch settings, you will have to test the board as described later in this
section to determine the correct configuration.
Mark the board with the corresponding configuration letter (A, B, or C) for
reference in resetting the switches.
Setting Switch SW1.1
The first switch (SW1.1) controls the line impedance. The settings should all
be set to the “OPEN” position initially (as shown in Figure 3 for each
configuration). If problems are encountered with Touch-Tone recognition,
change all of the switches on the first bank (SW1.1) to the opposite (closed)
position.
