Examine the peaks of the spatial calibration.
A profile is acceptable if the peaks meet the following conditions.

• Peaks in the profile are approximately the same height.
• The peak height increases at the beginning and the end of the spatial profile.

Note: 

If you are using a 96-capillary array, a small peak may appear in the left

side of the profile. The peak is normal.

For additional information, see “Examples of passing and failing spatial

profiles“ on page 94.
A profile is not acceptable if the peak heights are irregular. See “Spatial

calibration troubleshooting“ on page 138.

Verify that an orange cross appears at the top of each peak in the profile.
Expand the profile if needed. See “Magnify the spatial profile“ on page 96.
