Creating Devices

Once devices have been added, you can create several types of logical device 
constructs by combining various ports as described in the sections that follow.

Adding an Aggregate Device

When you select

To add an Aggregate Device, do the following:

1. Provide a name to identify the aggregate device in the 

Name

 field.

2. (Optional) Provide a further description of the aggregate device in the 

Description

 field.

3. (Optional) Drop down the Department, Location, and/or Type list(s) and 

click on the one(s) you want the aggregate device to belong to.

4. (Optional) Provide the name and telephone number of the device 

administrator in the 

Contact Information

 field.
