Replacing a thermal printhead

Power off printer and disconnect from electrical and air supply.
ATTENTION
Electrical damage to the thermal printhead when handled incorrectly
Thermal printheads are electrostatically sensitive electronic components. Incorrect handling can damage
or destroy the thermal printhead due to ESD voltage flashovers. Any liability and warranty for any dam-
ages caused by incorrect handling of the printing system is excluded by Allen Coding GmbH.

Take the appropriate ESD precautions (e.g. wear an ESD bracelet) before you begin with the replace-
ment of the thermal printhead.

Observe the corresponding information in the operating instructions.
