Power supply
Position the 24 V power supply close to the printing system and connect the output cable to the 24 V
DC
connector of the
printing system. Secure connector by engaging spring or clamp.
Air supply
1.
Position and secure the pressure regulator close to the printing system or in an accessible place where it is easy to
operate.
2. Connect the pressure regulator air input port to the main air supply line and connect the air output to the printing
system.
3. Set the pressure regulator to 75psi (~5 bars). Maximum permissible pressure is 6 bars .
Control terminal
1.
Use the communication cable to connect the control terminal to the printer.
2. Tighten the clamping screws (see control terminal user’s guide).
Host machine
Use the signal cable to connect the printer to the host machine. See
“ Electrical installation ” for connection configura-
tions.
Computer
The
printer can operate connected to a PC and the control terminal at the same time, thereby ensuring maximum flexi-
bility of operation.
You can connect the printing system either by serial or Ethernet connection to your PC (see “ Communication via the
serial interface (RS-232) ” and “ Communication via the Ethernet connection ” for more details).
